HELLO

Hi. I'm Amanda...a happy wife and mom to three awesome guys. We've lived here in Fort Collins for more than 20 years and are proud to call it home. Before moving to CO, I worked at a city attorney's office, making use of my law and Master's degrees from Duke. After settling in Fort Collins, I homeschooled my three (now teenage and older) sons and was delighted to experience music classes, soccer, karate, swim team, archery, Science Olympiad, First Lego League, parkour, and climbing (not all at the same time!). From 2005-10, I was also a contributing editor for a national scrapbooking magazine, authoring a book and a couple of monthly columns. From 2009-10, I founded and ran the Good Grief Blog. I enjoy learning new things, spending time with my family, volunteering with The Matthews House, traveling and indoor rock climbing.

More layouts...

First of all, thanks for all the healthy wishes! I'm happy to report that Noah continues amazingly to be healthy, Nathan has made it out of bed and back to work, and Asher may be on the mend. Maybe. Micah's hanging in there...not as bad as Asher but still not 100%. I've joined them and have a lovely little head cold going on now...but I'm still better than Asher, so that's something.

Meanwhile, here are three Lists of Me layouts I haven't shared yet. I'm behind by a week now thanks to this croup crud but will work on catching up...later. :)

I've, incidentally, thought of many more things I'd add to the above list since finishing this layout... ;)

Love the big frame things that I cut in half and used on the above layout. You can find them here. I was so proud of myself for using one right away and can't wait to use some of the other goodies I got from her shop!

Big thanks to my pal Jennifer Latham for the inspiration behind this last one! :)

Okay. Off to take some drugs now...happy Thursday everyone!

Glad that y'all are on the mend! LOVE the "in charge" layout especially! BTW, what dimensions are those?

Glad to hear that sickness is getting better. Those layouts are great.

You need to get out more and go shopping...the expandable waist pants are already out there. John wears them lol! I've seen them in catalogs for women.

Feel better Amanda! No croup here but Mira just gave me my first head cold of the year. I'll be more appreciative of that fact once I get past the faucet-nose stage! Mend mend mend!

Love your pages/lists. Such fun stuff to record! Let me know when you get that hypnotic part down :)
