Watermelon Baby and other stuff

So. I flew to Washington last week to visit family and friends and such. Nathan and the boys stayed here...with Nathan working from home and then the lot of them building and launching model rockets on the weekend. They picked me up at the airport Monday night. :) While I was gone...here's what I was up to...
- Got to see my baby sister and baby brother's new homes (in Issaquah/Renton and in Bothell) and visit with both (and their lovely spouses).
- Had lumpia at my mom's!
- Watched my middle niece's tae-kwon-do belt promotion. (Yay, Alexis!)
- Facetimed with my boys a number of times. ;)
- Actually made myself go running two mornings along the bike path near my mom's, since I was missing boot camp class. (I'm not convinced that made any difference, though, having suffered through boot camp again this morning after a week "off," lol!)
- Got to chat with five of my nieces & nephews (just missed the one niece who lives here in Colorado). Thanks, Quinn, for being shorter than me for a wee bit longer. ;)
- Had my toes done with my mom and sisters. :)
- Had to shake my head at my grandma, who wants to befriend the family of skunks who've taken up residence at the back of my mom's yard. Though my brother in law tried valiantly to shoot them (per my mom's request), we're pretty sure Grams led them to freedom in the middle of the night, lol.
- Enjoyed deep-fried asparagus at Burger Ranch!
- Held a lovely baby shower for my baby sister...complete with a cute watermelon baby my mom and I made, visiting with high school teachers and relatives, and group pictures...
(Middle sister, Bekah...preggo baby sis, Cassy...me...mom)
- Went to the movies with mom, Cas, Charlie (her husband), two nieces and a nephew.
- Attended a memorial mass for my dad (who's been gone six years now, as of August 15).
- Had a mini-reunion with high school friends!
(We got together at my mom's since our "official" 20 year reunion got cancelled, lol. So lovely catching up with folks!)
- Took this picture with Grams before heading back out:
(She's doing pretty dang well for having just celebrated her 92nd birthday!)
- Had a good chat with my mom on our drive back to Seattle.
- And had a smooth flight home. ;)
Whew.
