Other stuff to share

Just a few more things to share/catch up on...
1. Micah skydiving. I got to see Micah's skydiving video last weekend...figured I'd share one of the screenshots:
Seems like he had a great time. :) (The rest of the pictures are pretty similar to the ones I already shared from Asher's video...but with Micah's face and enthusiasm.)
2. Update on Noah. Since people keep asking me, yes, Noah seems to be having a good time in Japan. On my birthday, he actually shared this photo with me...
He's on one of the observation levels of the Tokyo Skytree. The structure is 2080 feet high...Japan's tallest structure. (For comparison, the Seattle Space Needle is 605 feet high and the Eiffel Tower is 1083 feet high, so, yeah, he's pretty high up there.)
So far he's been in two different hostels and has been walking all over...seeing the area around him, hiking mountains, and visiting sites.
3. New car! Oh, and by the way, on Tuesday we leased a new car.
We really hadn't been planning to do anything about vehicles right now...had been thinking we'd address that in 2-3 years once sons are potentially/hopefully off on their own and with their own vehicles and insurance (and hoping against hope that our current vehicles would make it that long, lol). But. Toward the start of the month my brother Zach called me to share the great deals he'd just gotten on electric vehicles, specifically the Nissan Ariya. He'd leased one for his wife and one for his daughter and the numbers were pretty darn great/low.
Long story short, we ended up leasing one of our own. We didn't get rid of any of our other vehicles but this way we have a bit of a buffer so that if anything (knock on wood) happens to one of the others, we have an "extra" either to take its place or to buy time so we can actually look for better deals instead of needing to spend money right away. We'll still use our minivan for longer road trips (since charging along the way doesn't look like it makes sense right now).
So. We've been enjoying learning our Ariya and having fun driving something newer than 2008. It's definitely a bit of an adjustment but I keep reminding myself that learning new things is good for me, lol. Also, it's fun and pretty. :)
Okay, that was it for now...just wanted to share before I forgot or got distracted, lol.
